What we do

Work on listed buildings and features, industrial heritage included, coordinating the design with the relevant heritage authority.
Our speciality
ALFESTAL was founded in 2009 by a group of professionals in tunnel design and construction. That school of thought — three-dimensional analysis, settlement control and a permanent presence on site — is what we apply today to every commission, with or without a tunnel.

Full refurbishment design for the Avenida de Oviedo car park: ventilation, fire protection, lighting, lift, pavement and electric vehicle charging.
Technical assistance for the design and site supervision of the extension of Renfe's Operations Management Centre in Madrid.
Design for the restoration and relocation of the headframe from the Bierzo vocational school to the Laciana one, within the «La Mina en Vivo» project.
Inspection, diagnosis and repair design for the roof: joints, gutters, flashings and waterproofing.
Site supervision and health and safety coordination of the self-supporting structures at the Bachiller Alonso López and Daoiz y Velarde schools and La Chopera nursery.
Construction design for the bulky waste facility in Santolaya, including site works, services and fencing.
How we work
Site visit, baseline data and compared alternatives. If something is missing — geotechnics, survey, land registry — we say so before starting, not halfway through construction.
Report, appendices, drawings, specifications and a bill of quantities based on real measurements. Delivered digitally signed, in PDF/A, DWG and BC3.
Procurement support: answers to bidders' queries, tender review, evaluation reports and abnormally low bid analysis.
Site supervision, health and safety coordination, progress certificates and as-built documentation.
